The short version. Brick & Ledger is a local-first app. Your data lives only on your device, encrypted. We (the developer) run no server, have no account system, and never receive, see, transmit, sell, or share your data. The app works fully offline. The only optional online feature is an encrypted backup to your own Google Drive, which only you can read.
Brick & Ledger is published by Ushavi Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. Because the app is local-first and air-gapped from us, the honest summary is: we don't collect anything.
We collect no personal data. Brick & Ledger has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no developer server. Everything you enter — property details, payments, tax records, documents, photos, notes — is stored only on your device. We have no access to it and no way to retrieve it.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting, or any third-party telemetry SDKs.
Brick & Ledger works fully offline. Two features can use the network, both optional and under your control:

The app does not request camera or storage permissions; adding photos/documents uses your device's system file picker.
We do not share your data with anyone, because we never have it. Content leaves your device only by your explicit action: an encrypted backup to your own Google Drive (§4.1); or a report, document, or diagnostics file you choose to export or share. Diagnostics files are redacted by design and contain no personal or record content.
The app is a personal record-keeping tool intended for adults managing a property purchase. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. To remove it: delete individual records in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. If you used Drive backup, delete the backup file from your Google Drive.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
